First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having more fat around the heart makes heart function worse in people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. Researchers will use CT and MRI scans, blood tests, and other checks in 130 obese and non-obese patients. The goal is to understand the role of this fat, which could lead to new treatments that target fat around the heart.
