NCT ID NCT05574855
First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at how cooling therapy (therapeutic hypothermia) affects heart function and brain blood flow in newborns who experienced oxygen deprivation at birth. Researchers used ultrasound to measure these effects in 113 babies. The goal was to better understand the body's response to cooling, not to test a new treatment.
