First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a three-day simulation-based training program for newborn care providers in Nepal can improve their skills in resuscitation and kangaroo mother care. About 240 medical officers, nurses, and paramedics from special newborn care units will take part. The goal is to see if this low-cost training can reduce preventable deaths from birth asphyxia and hypothermia.
