Researchers investigate link between hearing loss and breathing strength in children

NCT ID NCT07421349

Summary

This study aims to understand if children with hearing impairment have different lung function and breathing muscle strength compared to children with normal hearing. Researchers will measure breathing capacity and muscle strength in 30 children aged 7-16, comparing those with hearing loss to healthy peers. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how hearing loss might affect physical development, not to test a treatment.
