New study aims to map healthy lungs with advanced imaging and breathing tests

NCT ID NCT07614685

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will observe how healthy lungs work by using two non-invasive tests: a special MRI that shows lung ventilation and a breathing test that measures airway resistance. Twenty healthy adults will participate to help researchers understand the relationship between these measurements. The goal is to gather knowledge about normal lung function, not to treat any disease.
