Home repairs may ease asthma in Low-Income kids
NCT ID NCT07453667
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether low-cost fixes for dampness and mold in the home can improve asthma control in children from low-income families. About 80 kids with asthma will be split into two groups: one gets the home repairs right away, the other waits. Researchers will check asthma symptoms, quality of life, and missed school days after three months.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that simple home repairs can help control asthma symptoms and reduce hospital visits for children.
