Could a Light-Up vest ease asthma in kids?
NCT ID NCT07613671
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether wearing a special LED vest for 20 minutes twice a week can improve lung function and exercise ability in children aged 6 to 17 with mild to moderate asthma. The vest uses light to reduce inflammation without heat. Half the children will get the active vest, the other half a placebo (lights off). The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive approach can help manage asthma symptoms and improve quality of life.
