First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study enrolls 80 people with implanted heart devices to see if collecting extra health data from wearables and a phone app can improve care. Participants must have had a heart failure event in the past year. The goal is simply to gather data, not to test a new treatment.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show that wearable data helps doctors better monitor heart patients and predict problems.

What could go wrong

This is a small feasibility study, not testing a treatment. It may not lead to any direct health improvements.
