Scientists test if a natural hormone is the hidden culprit behind head injury headaches
NCT ID NCT07340775
Summary
This study aims to understand what causes headaches after a mild head injury. Researchers will give a hormone-like substance called pramlintide to 21 people with long-term post-traumatic headaches to see if it triggers their migraine-like pain. The goal is to learn more about the headache process, not to treat it.
