First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a substance called Histoacryl can prevent chronic subdural hematoma (a type of brain bleed) from coming back or getting worse. About 178 adults with this condition will receive a procedure to block the middle meningeal artery using Histoacryl. Researchers will track how many people need another surgery or show signs of the bleed returning over 6 months.
