Summary

This study tested whether bringing HIV and chronic disease care into the community and linking it with microfinance groups helps people stay in care and keep the virus under control. About 1,200 adults with HIV in rural Kenya took part. The goal was to see if easier access to care and better household finances improve health outcomes.
