Summary

This early-stage study tests a handheld imaging device that uses magnetic particles to track stem cells after they are injected into the knee. Ten adults with mild-to-moderate knee osteoarthritis will receive a single injection of labeled stem cells, and the device will monitor their location and survival over 30 days. The goal is to see if this new imaging method can better predict treatment success than standard MRI scans.
