Simple hand fan tested as breath of fresh air for COPD patients
NCT ID NCT06857422
Summary
This study tested whether using a simple hand fan could help people with COPD feel less short of breath and improve their mood. For six weeks, one group of patients used a fan for 10 minutes daily, while another group received standard care. Researchers measured changes in breathing difficulty, anxiety, depression, and how patients viewed their illness.
