Stem cell study to prevent transplant complication withdrawn before start
NCT ID NCT06444022
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aimed to test whether a special type of stem cell (hAESC) could prevent a serious complication called graft-versus-host disease in people receiving a stem cell transplant for blood cancer. The plan was to give the hAESCs through an IV and monitor for side effects and how well the transplant worked. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
