Can a nurse and a smartphone app improve life after gynecologic cancer?

NCT ID NCT04122235

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested a new follow-up approach for people who finished treatment for gynecologic cancers like ovarian, endometrial, cervical, or vulvar cancer. Instead of seeing a doctor every time, patients met with a nurse at every other visit and used a smartphone app to learn self-care skills. The goal was to see if this helped them feel more in control and improved their quality of life compared to standard follow-up.
