Gut check: could your microbiome predict fertility after immunotherapy?

NCT ID NCT07201259

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This observational study looks at how immune checkpoint inhibitors (a type of cancer immunotherapy) affect ovarian function and fertility in women aged 18-38 with solid tumors. Researchers will collect blood and stool samples before and during treatment to measure hormone levels and analyze gut bacteria. The goal is to see if differences in gut microbiome composition are linked to better or worse fertility outcomes after treatment.
