Summary

This study aimed to understand if the types of bacteria in a person's gut are connected to how well they recover from a stroke. Researchers collected stool samples from 120 patients hospitalized for a stroke and checked their recovery and brain scan results over six months. The goal was to see if certain gut bacteria patterns correlate with better or worse outcomes.
