New gel combo shows promise for treating implant gum disease

Summary
This study tested whether adding two special gels to standard cleaning helps treat gum inflammation around dental implants. 92 adults with at least one inflamed implant took part. One group got standard cleaning plus the gels, the other got cleaning alone. The main goal was to see if bleeding on probing improved after 6 months.
