Summary
This completed Phase 4 trial tested whether Guilu Erxian Oral Liquid, a traditional Chinese herbal remedy, can improve sperm count and movement in men with mild to moderate low sperm count or poor sperm motility. The study enrolled 360 married men aged 22 to 40 who also had a diagnosis of kidney essence deficiency. Participants received either the herbal liquid or a standard comparator, and researchers measured changes in total motile sperm count and other semen parameters.
