Summary
This study looked at 30 adults with braces and gum inflammation (gingivitis). Each person received two different cleanings—one side of the mouth got a newer method called Guided Biofilm Therapy (using air and powder), and the other side got the standard ultrasonic cleaning and polishing. Researchers checked plaque and gum bleeding after 2 and 8 weeks to see which method worked better and was more comfortable.
