New group therapy aims to ease mental health strain for trans youth

Summary
This study will test a 6-week group therapy program designed to help trans and gender diverse teenagers cope with stress from discrimination and rejection. The program, created with input from trans youth, teaches skills to manage anxiety and depression and build community connection. Researchers will compare the mental health of teens who receive the therapy right away to those on a waitlist.
