First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study explores whether group-based metacognitive therapy (MCT) is practical and well-liked by adults with PTSD in regular psychiatric care. About 30 participants will attend group sessions, and researchers will track how many complete the treatment, report side effects, and see symptom changes. The goal is to see if MCT offers a gentler alternative to standard trauma-focused therapies.
