First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study will give 4,450 low-income adults with diabetes or hypertension a monthly food card of either $80 or $120. Researchers want to see if the extra grocery support helps people control their blood sugar and blood pressure, and reduces food insecurity. The goal is to find out if a higher benefit amount leads to better health outcomes.
