First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a mental training method called Graded Motor Imagery (GMI) can improve ankle stability, pain, and strength in people with chronic ankle instability. About 48 participants, including healthy controls, will perform mental exercises and be measured on balance, muscle stiffness, and function. The goal is to see if imagining movements can help real-life ankle rehabilitation.
