Summary

This study tests whether adding a drug called GM1 to standard clot-removal treatment helps people recover more fully after a severe stroke. About 868 adults with large-vessel blockage in the front part of the brain will receive either GM1 or a placebo alongside their emergency procedure. The goal is to see if GM1 can reduce long-term disability and improve daily function three months later.
