Summary

Women who become pregnant after weight-loss (bariatric) surgery have a higher chance of delivering smaller-than-expected babies. This study tests whether tracking blood sugar fluctuations with a continuous glucose monitor during each trimester can help predict which babies will be small. Researchers will follow 47 pregnant women who had bariatric surgery, using a skin sensor to record glucose levels and comparing those patterns to the baby's birth weight.
