This study tested if the pill glyburide works as well as insulin shots for treating gestational diabetes (diabetes during pregnancy). Over 900 pregnant women took part. The main goal was to see if babies had fewer problems like being very large, having low blood sugar, or jaundice. The results help doctors choose the best treatment.
