First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how different doses of glucagon, a natural hormone that raises blood sugar, affect people who experience low blood sugar after bariatric surgery. Researchers will give 28 participants increasing and decreasing doses of glucagon and measure their blood sugar and hormone levels. The goal is to understand how the body responds, not to provide a treatment.
