Ginger vs. puke: kitchen spice tested for surgery sickness

Summary
This study tests if taking ginger before gallbladder surgery can prevent nausea and vomiting afterward. About 102 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder removal will take either ginger or a placebo two hours before surgery. Researchers will track how many people feel sick in the first 24 hours after the operation.
