Can a 10-Minute checkup improve care for older lung cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT06987890

First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a short, 10-15 minute health check (called the Practical Geriatric Assessment) helps older adults with lung cancer get more support like nutrition advice or physical therapy before starting radiation. About 64 people aged 65 and older with early-stage lung cancer will take the assessment and answer questions about how easy it was. Researchers also want to see if using photos and voice recordings can help identify who needs extra care.
