New tool aims to boost genetic testing for prostate cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at what helps or hinders prostate cancer patients from completing genetic testing. Researchers will develop and test a decision support tool to educate patients and help them decide about testing. The goal is to increase testing rates, which can guide treatment and identify at-risk family members. About 108 patients from Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital will take part.
