Scientists hunt genetic clues to stop chronic inflammation

NCT ID NCT04698291

Summary

This study aims to understand how a person's genes affect their body's natural ability to stop inflammation. Researchers will analyze blood samples and health records from 200 volunteers of South Asian descent who are already part of a larger genetics program. The goal is to see if specific genetic changes are linked to how well the body controls inflammation, which could help explain why some people develop chronic inflammatory diseases.
