Summary

This study aims to find rare genetic changes that cause severe obesity starting in early childhood. Researchers will enroll 500 children and adults who had a very high BMI before age 6. Participants will provide a saliva or blood sample for genetic testing, answer health questions, and have a brief physical exam. The goal is to identify new or known obesity-related genes to better understand the condition.
