First seen Jun 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study explores whether genetic differences explain why some people benefit more from chili pepper compounds (capsaicinoids) for weight control. Researchers will give supplements to 100 adults with overweight or obesity and measure changes in body fat, appetite, and metabolism. The goal is to identify genetic markers that could lead to personalized nutrition strategies for obesity.
