First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aims to find genetic causes of cholestatic liver disease in adults whose condition remains unexplained after standard tests. Researchers will use whole-genome sequencing on 60 participants to look for rare gene changes linked to bile flow problems. The goal is to improve diagnosis and tailor follow-up care based on each person's genetic risk.
