Summary

This study aims to discover new types of inherited gene changes that might explain why some people develop cancer. Researchers are studying cancer patients along with their unaffected parents to look for gene differences that appear in the child but not the parents. The goal is to better understand genetic cancer risk, which could one day help identify people at higher risk.
