First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study follows healthy pregnant women who previously received an experimental Group B Streptococcus (GBS) vaccine to see how long their immune protection lasts. It also tests whether a booster dose given during a new pregnancy is safe and boosts immunity, aiming to protect newborns from serious infections like sepsis and meningitis. About 338 participants in Denmark and South Africa are involved.
