Summary

This study aimed to see if diabetic patients have slower stomach emptying than non-diabetic patients before scheduled surgery, using a simple ultrasound. It was designed to compare stomach contents after fasting in both groups. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
