Summary
This study looks at people with gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying) who have a gastric electrical stimulator (GES) implanted. Researchers will turn off the device for up to four hours to see how it changes insulin and other hormone levels. The goal is to understand the device's effect on the body, not to treat a condition. Participants must be at least 18, have had the device for three months, and not use insulin for diabetes.
