First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether a drug called galantamine, combined with a specific brain-training program, could improve thinking and memory in people who had a first stroke 3 months earlier. 47 adults aged 35-70 took part. The goal was to see if the combo helped brain activity and daily function better than a placebo plus training.
