First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compared two treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome: gabapentin medication alone versus gabapentin plus a physiotherapy technique called median nerve neural mobilization. Researchers measured pain levels and hand function in 72 participants. The goal was to see if adding the nerve mobilization exercises provides extra pain relief beyond medication alone.
