Cozy sock could speed healing after leg amputation

Summary

This study tests whether a fuzzy compression sock can help wounds heal faster after a leg amputation due to poor blood flow. About 40 adults will either get the special sock or standard care. Researchers will track infections, pain, and how soon a prosthetic leg can be fitted.
