Cozy sock could speed healing after leg amputation

Summary
This study tests whether a fuzzy wale compression stockinet can help wounds heal faster and lower costs after a leg amputation due to poor blood flow. About 40 adults will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this special sock reduces infections, pain, and time until a prosthetic leg can be fitted.
