Gentle foot massage may soothe Brain-Injured newborns during cooling therapy

Summary

This study looks at whether gentle foot massage (reflexology) can improve comfort and vital signs in newborns with brain injury from oxygen loss, who are receiving cooling treatment. About 84 stable newborns will either get standard care or standard care plus foot reflexology. Researchers will measure comfort levels, heart rate, breathing, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and body temperature.
