Meal sequencing may boost glucose control in Food-Insecure diabetics

Summary

This study looks at whether eating proteins and vegetables before carbohydrates can improve blood sugar control in adults with diabetes or prediabetes who also experience food insecurity. Participants will receive free produce boxes and either standard nutrition advice or extra counseling on meal sequencing. The goal is to see if changing the order of foods eaten can help keep blood sugar in a healthy range.
