Ovarian cancer protein study could pave way for targeted therapies
NCT ID NCT07407062
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at tissue samples from 200 people with relapsed ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer to see how often a protein called folate receptor alpha (FRα) is present at high levels. The goal is to understand how common this protein is, which may help doctors decide who could benefit from future treatments that target FRα. Participants are not given any new treatment; only existing stored tissue samples are tested.
