Sound waves may calm drug-resistant epilepsy seizures

Summary
This study tests whether focused ultrasound can safely reduce seizures in people with drug-resistant epilepsy. Twenty adults whose seizures are not controlled by medication will receive ultrasound to the brain. Researchers will monitor seizure frequency and brain activity to see if the treatment works and is safe.
