NCT ID NCT07471035
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether focused shockwave therapy (fESWT) plus exercise reduces pain and improves walking in people with chronic plantar fasciitis (heel pain lasting over 6 months). About 20 adults will be randomly assigned to either fESWT plus exercise or exercise alone. Researchers will measure pain, foot function, and changes in the heel tissue using ultrasound.
