Heel pain breakthrough? exercise boosts steroid shot results

NCT ID NCT06917937

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether adding specific foot exercises to a standard corticosteroid injection provides extra relief for people with plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. Forty adults with heel pain for at least a month took part. Researchers measured pain, flexibility, and walking ability to see if the combination approach worked better than the injection alone.
