First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of shockwave therapy—radial and focused—to see which better reduces pain from chronic plantar fasciitis (heel pain lasting over 3 months). About 114 adults with stubborn heel pain will receive one of the two treatments. The goal is to find out if one type works better for morning pain and pain after walking or standing.
