Simple sputum test could catch lung cancer early

Summary

This study is testing a new test called FlowPath Lung that looks for early-stage lung cancer in sputum (phlegm). The test is for people at high risk for lung cancer who have a lung nodule between 6 and 30 mm. The goal is to see how well the test can find cancer compared to standard methods. About 2063 participants will provide a sputum sample for analysis.
